True Kobe Beef... the most exclusive beef on earth. Only a handful of Purveyors & Restaurants in the United States are certified by Kobe Beef to import and sell this very rare and exquisite beef..... Meat Artisan is one of them (Registration #: 1155), and we have the Trophy to prove it. There are many imitations out there.... don't be fooled, anyone that serves it must be certified.
For over a century, the name of that delicacy "Kobe Beef" has been engraved in the pages of culinary history for its delicious flavor. Even now, just as over 100 years ago, gourmet celebrities from all around the world still consider it an honor for the rare chance to sample the some of the finest beef on earth. This delicacy is a timeless, moving experience that will transport you and those you love to delirious gourmet heights.
Kobe Beef is a harmony of delicate, dignified sweet lean meat and the taste and fragrance of melt-in-your-mouth fat. The secret behind its deliciousness is its so-called “shimofuri” fat marbling. The “sashi” fatty content of the meat itself will actually begin to dissolve at low temperatures. This means that it will literally melt in your mouth. An abundant content of inosinic and oleic acids has been scientifically proved as factors that contribute to its outstanding flavor.
"Lineage" above all else defines and influences the texture of beef. Only pureblood "Tajima-gyu" cows are capable of producing the supreme deliciousness of Kobe Beef. Tajima-gyu is regarded as the pinnacle of even the Japanese Black domestic breeds of Wagyu cattle of which only a few now exist and strictly controlled.
